I always tell people, when they need something (paint, repair, new roof, junk hauling — whatever it might be) “ask a realtor.” Seriously. We’re like walking directories of great local pros.
Over time, we collect the best of the best. The painter who makes a home look brand new. The roofer who doesn’t cut corners. The electrician who actually calls you back. The landscaper who shows up when they say they will.
But since earning my CSA designation, I’ve become even more intentional about the list I’m building, especially for seniors. And one of the greatest finds of my career is the Amazing Jenny Brown, owner of Last Call Estate Sales.
Credit where credit is due, call out to Lynn Hendrix! In the process of preparing Lynn’s home for sale, we interviewed a series of Estate Sale professionals and learned that there is a huge disparity in how these things work. After trying to select the best choice from several that didn’t feel great (but time was of the essence), Lynn found Jenny and our world changed.
As Lynn said “it was so nice to know that things would go to a new home and I didn’t need to worry about it.” It is truly freeing to simply move what you want and leave the rest for Jenny and Team. No need to pack up a donation bag and drag it to Good Will. Relax, Jenny’s got this!
Jenny is fully of energy, has a total “can-do” attitude, and in short is just a delight. She approaches each sale with organization, professionalism, and compassion. She knows how emotional this process can be for seniors and their families, and she handles every step with respect and grace.

I might just sneak Jenny and her crew in one day when he’s at the grocery store. I can only imagine how delighted we would both be!

My dad had several more falls and then the flu, and landed in the hospital. He’s currently in a rehab facility, trying to get back his strength. The photo above is from just a week ago when he fell (while at rehab) and took a Saturday night round trip to ER. But always SMILING. Love his smile!
